Breast Augmentation · Board-Certified · Edmond, Oklahoma
Fuller, natural-looking, and unmistakably yours. Dr. Zachary M. Hurwitz, MD performs breast augmentation with Motiva® implants — the newest implant technology approved by the FDA — combined with meticulous planning, honest guidance on size and proportion, and an artist’s eye for results that fit your frame and your life.
Dr. Hurwitz operates within the Mercy system — with the safety protocols, facilities, and accountability of a major hospital behind every procedure.
Every surgery is staffed by a board-certified or board-eligible physician anesthesiologist — an MD or DO. Not the norm at every surgery center; always the standard here.
You'll hear what will work, what won't, and what it costs — candidly. If a smaller procedure (or none at all) serves you better, that's what Dr. Hurwitz will recommend.
The Procedure
Every augmentation is planned around your anatomy and goals. At your consultation you’ll try on sizers, review options, and leave with a clear, personalized plan.
The newest FDA-approved implant technology
Dr. Hurwitz uses Motiva® implants — the first new breast implant approved by the FDA since 2013 (September 2024). The SmoothSilk® surface is engineered to minimize inflammation and bacterial adhesion, with clinical-trial complication rates under 1% at three years. Ergonomix® models move with you — teardrop when upright, rounder when lying down, like natural tissue — and their flexibility allows smaller incisions. Dr. Hurwitz chose Motiva for one reason: he believes it’s the best-performing implant available today.
Planned for your anatomy and lifestyle
Incision placement (most commonly hidden in the fold beneath the breast) and implant position (beneath or above the muscle) are decided together based on your tissue, activity level, and goals. Meticulous technique keeps scars discreet and recovery smooth.
Mastopexy-augmentation for shape and fullness
If pregnancy, weight change, or time have affected breast position as well as volume, combining augmentation with a lift (mastopexy) restores both in a single surgery and a single recovery. Dr. Hurwitz will tell you candidly whether an implant alone will achieve what you’re hoping for.
Is It Right for You?
Whether restoring volume lost to pregnancy or weight change, or adding fullness you’ve always wanted.
Non-smokers (or willing to pause) at a stable weight do best, with realistic expectations.
Different-sized implants can bring noticeably uneven breasts into balance.
Dr. Hurwitz is known for candid advice on what will — and won’t — look natural on your frame.
Augmentation (sometimes with a lift) restores the upper fullness that nursing often takes.
Many patients simply want proportion that clothes are designed for — that’s reason enough.
What to Expect
Every patient heals differently — this is the typical arc, and you'll have direct access to our team throughout.
Home the same day. Soreness and tightness managed with medication; walking encouraged immediately.
Most patients return to desk work. Implants ride high at first — this is normal and settles.
Light activity resumes; swelling continues to fade and implants begin to soften and settle.
Cleared for exercise. Final shape and softness emerge over the following months.
Investment
Every augmentation is quoted individually — your implant choice, technique, and operative plan all factor in — and you’ll receive a complete, no-surprises quote at your consultation. Considering a breast reduction instead? That’s often covered by insurance — we accept all major plans and can help you understand which path fits your goals. And every cosmetic procedure here is backed by CosmetAssure® complication coverage — a financial safety net available exclusively through board-certified plastic surgeons, protecting you for the 45 days after surgery when standard health insurance typically excludes cosmetic complications.

Motiva implants are the newest implants approved by the FDA — the first new approval since 2013. The SmoothSilk® surface reduces inflammation and bacterial adhesion (contracture and rupture rates under 1% at three years in FDA trial data), and Ergonomix® gel adapts to your position like natural tissue. Dr. Hurwitz uses Motiva because he considers it the best-performing implant available today.
Natural results come from choosing a size and profile that fit your frame — and from a surgeon willing to tell you honestly what will and won’t look right. That candor is a hallmark of Dr. Hurwitz’s consultations.
Most patients are back at a desk within about a week, resume light activity by two to four weeks, and are cleared for full exercise around six weeks. Final softness and position develop over the following months.
Most commonly in the natural fold beneath the breast, where the scar fades into a thin line that’s hard to spot. Options are reviewed at your consultation.
Implants aren’t lifetime devices, but there’s no automatic expiration — many last 10–20 years or more. You’ll get clear monitoring guidance, and future questions are handled by the same practice that placed them.
Cost depends on implant type and your surgical plan — you’ll receive a complete, personalized quote at your consultation with no hidden fees.
